9-11 Essay Project
INSTRUCTIONS: Students will interview three people who are old enough to remember the events of 9-11-2001. After completing the interviews, students will use those responses and additional information to answer an essay question. The question is "How has America changed since the 9-11 attacks?" Essays should be at least 300 words in length and discuss the impact 9-11 had on the United States. MLA format must be used (MLA citations, double-spaced 12 point Times New Roman or Arial font.) Each student will work on these brief writing prompts in class. This is considered a major writing and will be weighted as 30% of BOTH English and History grades.
